Courses Updates: Video Thumbnail and Bug Fixes

Summary of the release:

We are excited to introduce a new feature that enhances your video editing experience, the ability to extract and use the current frame as a thumbnail.

What’s New? / Key Features / Benefits:

  • Users can now click on the “Use Current Frame as Thumbnail” button to capture and use the exact frame they want as the video thumbnail.
  • The thumbnail extraction process is seamlessly integrated into the video player, making it quick and intuitive to use.

How to Use?:

  1. Play the video to the desired frame.
  2. Click on the “Use Current Frame as Thumbnail” button.
  3. The selected frame will be extracted and set as the thumbnail for your video.

Why This Feature?:

Currently, the thumbnail only appears in navigation, not on the video itself, requiring manual uploads for each lesson.

Selecting frames from uploaded videos for video lessons simplifies the process, addressing user pain points and improving the user experience.
